Playwriting for Young People
From pantomimes, full of over-the-top characters and cringe-worthy puns, to semi-devised drama about prisoners of war in the Far East during World War II, Jonathan’s work for young people covers a huge range.
Highlights include Dick Turpin, The Curse of the Mummy’s Tomb and The Time Machine, pantomimes produced at the Arena Theatre (Wolverhampton), and Glamour and Romance a play about social dancing in the 1940s, which was presented at Wolverhampton’s Low Level Station as part of Central Youth Theatre’s Everybody Dance Now Festival.
