Welcome

Jonathan Collings is an actor, playwright and storyteller with over twenty-five years experience.  He lives in Wolverhampton, and much of his work takes place in the West Midlands.

As a storyteller he regularly visits schools and libraries, museums and art galleries, along with many other community venues. A lot of his storytelling sessions include a workshop element - taking childen’s ideas, and helping them to develop and shape finished narratives.

As a playwright, much of his work is for young people - it includes four pantomimes for Central Youth Theatre, which have been presented with great success in Wolverhampton’s Arena Theatre. Other scripts have been produced for TIE companies in the South of England and the Midlands.  He has also written three one-man shows on Victorian themes - he performs these on a regular basis. In addition, he has completed a number of other plays, often as part of projects with New City Playwrights.

His work as an actor (when he is known as Jonathan Wyatt) includes radio drama, main-house theatre, TIE and community touring.
